A song for the moment

The fourth single from our new album is out on all streaming services now. "The Good Times" feels particularly of the moment with a lyric that looks at where the personal intersects with the wider world. This song was again recorded and produced with Woodstock wündermensch Chris Maxwell.  Iris Clementine harmonies.

We are unveiling a series of six singles over the next several months, each offering a glimpse into the evolving soundscape of our latest album, titled Dreamers of the Golden Dream, slated for release in early 2025 on Vfib Recordings.

THE GOOD TIMES

They say resist
And yet, we must persist
Take out the garbage
Do the dishes
Distant mister
Missing missus

To moth and rust
Decay we know we just
First to ash and then to dust
Head to head
And bust to bust

These are the good times
These are the times
These are the good times
A worried heart, a worried head
Wanna crawl back in bed
These are the good times

So many lies
And yet, that buck moon on the rise
So much hate
And yet that orange moon
Floating just above that garden gate

The ignorance
And yet that warbler on the fence
So much strife
And yet me by your side tonight

These are the good times
These are the times
These are the good times
A worried heart, a worried home
Better than being here alone
These are the good times
